One of the key skills I utilise regularly, which I first gained when I worked in investment banking, is communication, as I have to work closely with both internal banking representatives and external agencies to ensure that we remain fully compliant with the latest regulations, whilst remaining true to the client focused approach which has made Societe Generale the success it is today.” Being a woman in such a male dominated market can be both daunting and challenging, but despite this Fanny has achieved extraordinary success thanks to her drive and determination. She explores the obstacles she has faced throughout her career and how she has worked to overcome them. “Working in the finance industry as a woman can be tough, and proving yourself is a key challenge that I personally have faced.
