Endeavor Asset Management (EAM) manages the private wealth of our high and ultra-high net worth individual clients and also provides asset management services to our institutional, defined benefit and defined contribution clients. Endeavor Corporate Services (ECS) provides a broad array of financial services to our institutional clients including defined benefit, defined contribution, non-qualified deferred compen- sation, ESOPs and more. Endeavor Wealth Planning (EWP) provides in-depth and detailed financial and life planning services to our high and ultra-high net worth clients. Noting that this award is for our asset management expertise, I’d like to make the point that the focus of our investment and allocation process revolves around prudent and detailed risk management. We firmly be- lieve that if we astutely manage financial risks for our clients that reason- able returns will eventually take care of themselves. We are constantly updating and upgrading our thoughts about risk, how to define risk, how to assess risk, how to manage risk and how to best quantify and qualify risk. We then assign possibilities and probabilities to an array of possible outcomes and then determine how much risk to assume and not to assume for each individual client. While working in an industry that is constantly changing, we always look to adapt and innovate our services to best suit each client. In life, we find that the more things change, the more they remain the same. The construct of managing risk is no different. The world is always changing: it always has and always will and we will continuously adapt and evolve to meet the ever changing needs of our clients. Mark Twain wrote something to the fact, years ago, that history tends not to repeat itself, but it does tend to rhyme. Of course, the world changes and the world evolves, but we will endure and persist through this evolution. We will do so, successfully, from a financial perspective, by sensibly assessing and managing the risks that the world affords and investing accordingly. In terms of how we handle our clients, our team’s approach is simple; clients always come first. We respond to all client inquiries within 24 hours and at least one of the partners is working remotely after hours to ensure all client requests are responded to even if the team is out of our office. Our team operates as a private family office within the UBS franchise for each of our clients. At all times, we strive to maintain a fiduciary relationship with each and every client. Furthermore, as part of our diligent efforts in client service, we are always researching optimal solutions for every client query. As such, we persistently filter through our universe of contacts for optimal partners to meet client needs and objectives within all aspects of financial man- agement. Our culture is one of camaraderie between our partners both internal to UBS and external to our firm, all dedicated to client centric service with the objective being that our clients reach out to our team as their “first call” when they need an opinion or answer pertaining to affairs that affect their financial matters.
